Privacy Policy.

We take your data seriously and keep it lean. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and how you control it.

1. Who we are

Cospronos Media ("Cospronos", "we", "our", "us") is an AI-first tech studio headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. We build AI agents, automation workflows and AI-native products for clients worldwide. For any privacy question, reach us at cospronos@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you, deliver work, and improve the site. Specifically:

  • Contact form submissions: name, email, WhatsApp number, subject, message.
  • Email & WhatsApp correspondence: anything you send us directly.
  • Chat widget (Aria): your selection or typed message is passed to cospronos@gmail.com as a standard email.
  • Technical data from your browser: approximate location (country-level), device type, pages visited, referral source, time on site. Collected via analytics only (see §5).
  • Local storage / cookies: none set by us directly on the marketing site, except as noted in §5.

We do not collect: payment card data, government IDs, health data, or children's data. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

3. How we use your data

  • To reply to your inquiry or chat message.
  • To prepare proposals, contracts, and deliver engagements.
  • To understand which pages and services resonate (aggregate analytics).
  • To send follow-ups only if you explicitly opt-in (e.g. requesting a newsletter or discovery call reminder).

We never sell your data. We never share it with third-party marketers.

4. Lawful basis (NDPR & GDPR)

We process personal data under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our lawful bases are:

  • Consent: when you submit a form or start a chat.
  • Contract: when we're scoping or delivering work for you.
  • Legitimate interest: for site analytics and security, where your rights and freedoms are not overridden.

5. Cookies & analytics

We may use a privacy-friendly analytics provider (e.g. Plausible) that does not set cookies and does not track you across sites. If we switch to a cookie-based provider (e.g. Google Analytics 4), a consent banner will be shown before any non-essential cookies are set.

Essential cookies used on this site: none at the time of this writing.

6. Third parties

We use a small set of vetted third parties. Today these include:

  • Google Fonts: serves webfonts. Google may log your IP when serving the fonts.
  • Email provider: we read and reply using standard email infrastructure (currently Google Workspace via cospronos@gmail.com).
  • WhatsApp (Meta): if you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is subject to Meta's privacy policy.
  • Hosting provider: the static site is served via a standard web host; server logs may record IP addresses for up to 30 days for security purposes.

Any future third-party integrations (Formspree, Calendly, analytics, etc.) will be listed here as they go live.

7. Data retention

  • Form submissions and emails: kept for up to 3 years after our last correspondence, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Engagement records (proposals, contracts, invoices): retained per legal and tax obligations (typically 7 years).
  • Analytics data: aggregated after 14 months.

8. Your rights

Under NDPR and GDPR you may:

  • Request a copy of data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or update inaccurate data.
  • Ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Object to processing or request restriction.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. For Nigeria, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

9. Security

We use TLS encryption in transit, access controls on our inboxes, and least-privilege sharing on any client deliverables. No method is 100% secure, but we treat your data like we'd want ours treated.

10. International transfers

Your data may be processed in Nigeria, the EU, the US or elsewhere (e.g. Google servers). Where data leaves your jurisdiction, we rely on standard contractual safeguards where applicable.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as services evolve. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
